Abysse was born out of a desire and dream to create a brand whose main purpose was to align women with the ideals of functional and sustainable fashion. Designed to empower women both in and out of the water, Abysse is a collection of swimwear, wetsuits, and activewear made in California from recycled sourced materials. As a model, surfer, and above all mother on a mission to protect the environment to ensure a bright future for her son, sustainability is a cause close to Hanalei’s heart. Evolving that passion into creating Abysse has been a magnificent journey for Hanalei through celebrating and creating for women that love the ocean as much as herself.
